Extract Review

It's hard to watch a film written and directed by the guy who blessed all of us with the comedy gem, Office Space. If people can have right
place, right time dynamics then certainly movies can too, and Office Space is the end all be all for that. Extract, not so much.
Unfortunately it ends up reminding you how great Office Space is and you end up only mildly amused with the film.

Great performance by Jason Bateman, as always, though and certainly Mila Kunis, who voices the unattractive daughter on The Family Guy, is much more attractive in person than her animated alter ego. In the
end, unless you're a big fan of Jason Bateman or are single and can oggle Mila Kunis without feeling guilty, just watch Office Space again.

I'm giving this one a 4 out 10. Let's hit the stats.

Language: More than you'd expect but not more than your average R rated comedy. In fact, a bit tame compared to just about any Seth Rogen movie.

Violence: What little bit there Isis slapstick and never taken seriously.

Sex: While it plays a key role for some if the situational comedy there's no onscreen sex and it's really the sex talk that goes farther.

Positive Themes: There's a lack of positive themes to be sure.

Negative Themes: Drug use, alcohol, theft, adultery and greed.
